FOOD & DRINK: Elderbrook: The Not Squash

Mail order cordial is a first on us, but in fact Elderbrook has been around for a while now and strikes us as a work of absolute genius. It’s a simple concept, beautifully done: you choose between nine flavours, and tell them how often you’d like your cordial (which is absolutely definitely NOT SQUASH!)  to be delivered and hey presto, it’s sent out in packages that fit through your door. The range is presented in gorgeous bottles – flat-ish ones so they’ll fit through your letterbox – illustrated by Enrica Casentini, Ana Jaks and Quentin Mongue.   There’s no sugar and unusually also no artificial sweeteners in these drinks and with flavours such as lime, mint and boabab (hands up anyone who’s ever even heard of boabab?) and pomegranate, cherry and cardamom to select from, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
